In Memory of Annamarie Della Sala Stanton
Former President of the Italian Heritage Society of Monterey

We deeply miss Annamarie's invaluable leadership. She strive to preserve the Italian heritage in Monterey, particularly within the fishing and canning industries. Her efforts led to the publication of three significant books: "Italian Fishing Families of Monterey" volumes one and two, with the latter created due to the overwhelming success of the first, which included additional biographies. The third book, "We Don't Just Fish," 86 stories of Italians pursuing various careers and showcases the lives and achievements of many local Italian families across 590 pages.
