Michael Anthony Bruno, a 3rd generation Italian American, was born in Monterey on May 13, 1960 to Frank (Stoney) and Anna Bruno. He has two brothers, Frank and Steve and one sister Paula.
Mike attended local schools, graduating from Monterey High where he played football and baseball and received a full ride scholarship in football to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College. He decided college wasn't for him, so he came home and went to work as an electrician. He also fished Salmon in Alaska for ten years and is involved in buying and selling real estate. He started his own business, Bruno Electric in 1984.
In 1982 he married Tina Tringalli. They have been married for 30 years and have three children, son Frank (Meica), daughter Anna (Patrick), and son Michael. They have one grandchild Ayla and one on the way.
Mike belongs to the Paisano Club, Compari Club and The Commercial Owners Association. He's involved in a lot of work in our community, coaching baseball and raising money for many charities. He's on the board for the John Spadaro Youth Foundation and Monterey High School Baseball and Softball. He enjoys helping people, especially those in need.
Mike enjoys his family, playing golf, vacationing and having coffee with the boys. He is proud of his heritage and feels blessed to have his family and friends and to live in beautiful Monterey.
